Skovgaard ThomasThomas Skovgaard has spanned positions at the university, the NGO-sector, secondary-education and consultant business. His main research areas are: Program evaluation and policy development in relation to health enhancing physical activity; Exercise on Prescription and Evidence in health promotion and disease prevention. Most recently he has, for instance, served as national evaluator of the European development project Improving Infrastructure for Leisure-Time Physical Activity in the Local Arena (IMPALA, Sponsored by the EU). At present he coordinates a national evaluation of Swimming in Physical Education (sponsored by the Sports Confederation of Denmark) and contributes as senior researcher to the multinational project Research into Policy to enhance Physical Activity (Sponsored by the EU).
