Professor of Endocrinology, Director of the Department of Health Sciences and Chair of the Unit of Endocrinology of the Rome University of Movement Science (IUSM). Professor of Sport Endocrinology at the School of Specialization in Endocrinology of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Contributed to several topics in human endocrinology, particularly on: a) relationships between amino acid supplementations and endocrine system, b) endocrine responses to physical exercise, c) physical activity and reproduction, d) andrology and sport, e) endocrine system, prevention and sport activities, and, f) hormones, ageing and physical activity.
